Indira Gandhi Medical College & Hospital (IGMC), located in Ridge Sanjauli Road, Lakkar Bazar, Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, was established in 1966 as Himachal Pradesh Medical College and later renamed in 1984. Affiliated with Atal Medical & Research University (AMRU) and recognised by the national medical authorities, IGMC has grown to become the premier government medical institution in Himachal Pradesh.
