Program Overview

Moti Lal Nehru Medical College (MLNMC), Prayagraj, is one of the oldest and most prestigious government medical colleges in Uttar Pradesh. Established in 1961, the institution is named after Pandit Motilal Nehru, a prominent freedom fighter and father of India’s first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. The college is affiliated with Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University (ABVMU), Lucknow, and recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC). MLNMC offers undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate (MD/MS) programs in various medical disciplines. The college is attached to the Swaroop Rani Nehru Hospital, Colvin Hospital, and Dufferin Hospital, providing a combined capacity of over 1,000 beds. These hospitals serve as major healthcare centers in the region, ensuring students gain rich clinical experience through real-world exposure. The college campus is well-equipped with modern infrastructure, including advanced laboratories, digital lecture halls, simulation centers, and a well-stocked central library.
