The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Guwahati is a prominent public medical institution and hospital to address regional healthcare imbalances and provide high-quality medical education in the Northeast. AIIMS Guwahati offers excellent and well-maintained hostel facilities for both male and female students. The rooms are spacious, double-seated, and fully furnished with beds, study tables, chairs, and wardrobes. Each room is equipped with an attached washroom and a continuous supply of hot and cold water. The hostels are designed to be self-sufficient, featuring a common room with TV, an outdoor gymnasium, and laundry facilities with washing machines on every floor. The mess provides hygienic and nutritious food, with the menu being decided and inspected by a student-run committee.
